My name Is Mrs. Treena Ferguson. My First grade teacher inspired my love of teaching. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Kutztown University. I returned to Kutztown for my Master’s Degree in Reading. I also hold a Principal Certification from Cabrini College. I have been teaching for 20 years. I taught a year of Kindergarten in the Pottsgrove School District before coming to Pottstown. Since then I have taught Pre-Kindergarten, First Grade and Kindergarten for Pottstown. I also spent a year as Interim Principal at Lincoln Elementary before deciding to return to the classroom.
Some Fun Facts about me……
· My mom went to Rupert Elementary. My dad went to Franklin. They met at Pottstown High School and the rest is history.
· I have 2 daughters. One is 15 and the other is 13. My oldest daughter loves to play softball. My youngest daughter loves gymnastics.
· When I am not teaching I love to read and exercise.
· My favorite place is the beach.
· I love the Crispy Crab Cakes at the Crab Trap in Ocean City, New Jersey.
· I do not have any pets.
· My family enjoys skiing in the winter.
· I do not like to fly
· My family loves Disney. We went this summer for the seventh time.
