Senior Volunteers Needed for Property Tax Relief If you are age 60 years of age, own property in Pottstown and pay property taxes, the Pottstown School District needs your help to reduce your taxes! Our Golden Sage program utilizes your experience and knowledge for volunteer services performed in the school district, while reducing your taxes up to $500 annually. This program has been in effect for 14 years and provides property tax relief for senior citizens. Your volunteering services will be positive, rewarding and personally gratifying. You can make a difference while spending quality time helping with education in the Pottstown School District.
