Students from Pottstown elementary schools competed in the annual school district Math Challenge held at Pottstown Middle School. Each of the five elementary buildings was represented by a team of students who competed in intense rounds of the Math 24 Game. Math 24 requires that students do all calculations without the assistance of calculators, paper, or pencils. The rapid recall format of the competition challenges students’ ability to analyze and solve problems. Members of the winning teams received medals and are listed below by grade level:
