Beginner Band Sign Up's Fall 2018

Beginner Band Sign-Ups will be held this September.  Students in Grades 4,5 & 6 are eligible to join the band program.  There will be a "MEET THE INSTRUMENT" Night at PHS Cafeteria beginnning at 7:00 PM.  Students will have the opportunity to pick and try an instrument as well as complete the sign-up process that evening.  Plan on attending!
 
We are currently planning a Spring "MEET THE INSTRUMENT" night.  Tentative date:  Wednesday, May 27, 2020 

Concert Information

 SPRING CONCERT DATE FOR BEGINNERS, 5/6 JAZZ BAND AND 5/6 CONCERT BAND WILL BE Thursday, May 7, 2020 at 7 PM in the Pottstown Middle School Auditorium 

 To participate in Travel Band, your name must appear on the listed posted in the music area!  Rubrics will be given in April.  

YOU WILL NEED YOUR INSTRUMENT~  PLEASE DRESS UP!

Travel Band Dates: 

  • Franklin School  Tues. May 12 at 10:00 AM  report to band room at 9:20 AM
  • Barth School Wed. May 13 at 1:00 PM report to the band room by 12:10 PM
  • Lincoln School Thurs. May 14  at 1:30 PM report to the band room by  12:50 PM 
  • Rupert School  Fri. May 22 at 9:30 AM report to the band room by 8:50 AM  

    • Any student in Travel Band NEEDS a music stand!!!!

5/6 Band

Rehearsals are Wednesday's after school beginning at 2:30-3:45 PM

There WILL NOT be band practice on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 due to Spring  Vacation.  

There will be the opportunity for Travel Band again in May!  Start practicing for the rubric test!!! 

Miss Ficca and Mrs. Mest are using the CLASS TAG APP for ALL communitcation! 

 

Beginner Band

Beginner Band Rehearsals 3:30-4:30 PM at Pottstown Middle School Band Room on each Tuesday!

Our first Beginner Band rehearsal will be  Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 3:30-4:30 PM in the Middle School Band Room.   

TRANSPORTATION IS NOT PROVIDED!
