Hello! Welcome to room 204! My name is Mrs. Miller and I am the 3rd and 4th grade Life Skills teacher at Barth Elementary. This will be my fourth year with Pottstown School District. Prior to Barth Elementary, I was an assistant for students in 6th through 8th grade at Pottstown Middle School.
In the spring of 2012, I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. While in college I was a member of the Bloomsburg Women’s Lacrosse team! During the 2012-2013 school year I volunteered as a lacrosse coach for the Pottstown High School Lacrosse team. I continue to share my love for lacrosse while coaching for Dynamite Lacrosse. While I am not at school, I love to go hiking with my husband and dog, exercise, spend time with family and friends, and travel!
I look forward to working with your student on skills that will help them be successful members of our community! In addition to academic skills, we will also learn new skills and strategies in areas such as; social skills, decision making, self-advocacy, hygiene, independent living skills, etc.
